Bath & Brush
This all inclusive package service includes a bath with premium shampoo & conditioner customized to your dog's unique needs selected by a Certified Canine Esthetician.
Coat? Blow dried & brushed out

Nails? Clipped and filed to a smooth finish using a specially designed rotary tool with a stay cool diamond tip & a guard to prevent hair from catching. Safety & comfort!

Achey Bones Bubble Bath

We LOVE working with senior dogs, but being groomed can be a lot of activity! A warm bubble bath with lavender and Epsom salts can provide some relief from the everyday aches and pains that comes with getting older.
Detoxified Doggo

Our bentonite clay mask works wonders for many skin and coat issues, drawing out toxins from environmental pollutants or product buildup. This is taken as an extra step between shampoo and conditioning to restore balance to the skin.
Corn Chip Dip

That funky frito-licious smell emanating from your best friend's toe beans is actually indicative of a naturally occurring bacteria that is mostly harmless, but isn't always pleasant. While your dog is being washed and conditioned, their tootsies are submerged into a combination of antibacterial & antifungal stink eliminators. Once they have soaked, the toes are scrubbed gently with a single use soft bristle brush and protective sax is applied to help seal the skin & discourage future funk.

Work with our Certified Canine Esthetician to design a custom treatment plan for your dog.
Please note that 99% of skin conditions cannot be resolved through the use of topical treatments. We strongly encourage you to work with your veterinarian or a veterinary dermatologist to resolve the root cause of the issues your dog is experiencing. All that topical treatments can provide is temporary relief, not a cure.
Yeasty Beasty Soak

Perfect for relieving itchy feet and wrinkle rash, this soak uses antifungal & skin soothing agents to help restore balance to inflamed areas while you work with your veterinarian to determine the root cause of the issue.

Color Work
We offer temporary & semi-permanent color, using vegan products designed exclusively for pets. Please notify us when booking if you are interested, and we will set up a color consultation 7-10 days prior to your groom so your stylist can perform a patch test to ensure there will be no allergic reactions, and make a plan for your bringing your vision to life. This consultation will cost $30. We only offer color services on existing clients who are over one year old, and will not color more than
Chalk: Lasts 1-2 Days
$15-$30 per area
Chalk is a great entry point for those interested in color! It is most appropriate for small sections such as ears & tails and will wear off within a few days.
Airbrush Color
$30+
Airbrush color lasts between 1-3 weeks depending on coat type & color. It is a fun way to experiment if you like to change up your dog's look frequently.
Airbrush services must be noted at time of booking to ensure appropriate scheduling and may require a color consult depending on the complexity of your vision.
Semi-Permanent Color
Starting at $100
We only use products designed specifically for dogs and cannot lighten coats.
This dye is vegan, cruelty free and lasts 3-12 months depending on coat types. We find that short, stiff coats don't hold color as long as soft, light colored coats, but there are many other variables at play, which is why before agreeing to any semi-permanent color work we require a consult and at least one regular groom to assess your dog's ability to tolerate what can be a lengthy process.

In order to provide a calm environment for all the dogs in our care, we ask that all services be scheduled and do not accept Walk-Ins.
Nail trim

To maintain healthy foot posture we encourage our clients to have their dog's nails trimmed every 2-4 weeks depending on lifestyle, age and breed.

Nail Trim & File

Nail clipping can leave sharp edges on the nail. We use a rotary tool designed for pets, with a guard that prevents hair from getting snagged and a diamond bit that stays cool. This keeps your dog comfortable and safe while allowing us to get as close to the vein inside the nail as possible without risking injury.

This service includes up to 15 minutes of brushing OR light trimming of one area (eyes, paw pads or hygiene area).
Note: our tools are very delicate and we will not clip or scissor hair that has not been washed within the preceding 24 hours or that is visibly dirty.
Fear-Free Programs
We employ Fear Free Practices to every aspect of the Underdogs experience. However, some pets may need some extra attention or time to become prepared for safe grooming. This could look like a 15 minute "Happy Visit" or specific desensitization work with a Fear Free Certified groomer. Perfect for puppies & rescues who have never experienced a grooming salon or dogs who have had difficult experiences in the past. We are happy to work with you & your pup to make them LOVE grooming!
Meet & Treat
$25
This is a 15 minute baseline assessment where you, your stylist and your dog get to know each other. Bring their favorite treats, we will chat and start to form a plan for your dog's individual needs. This is a crucial step for rescues who have unknown histories, dogs who have had difficult grooming experiences, or simply for guardians looking to do a "vibe check".
Happy Visit
$15 (multi-visit packages available!)
Happy Visits are exactly what they say they are; a Happy Visit! Bring your dog's favorite high value snack and come say hi! We want your pup to be thrilled to come see us and this is a great way to offset anticipatory anxiety! Often times we can accommodate a Happy Visit same day, just give us a call and we will get ready to throw a little party just for them.
Desensitization Work
$60-$100/hr
This is where the real work begins for dogs who have experienced trauma or have fear/anxiety regarding the process of being groomed. Sometimes it starts with just building trust, sitting near them and tossing their favorite treats or taking a little walk around the building. We use positive reinforcement training techniques to work towards being comfortable & safe for grooming. This process involves a commitment from you, as it might not be a quick fix. We simply cannot do it alone.
Reactive/Kennel free/Private Appointments
$25-$80 Additional
We are mostly one on one grooming, however, the nature of the special cases we work with isn't always an exact science. Therefore it may be necessary to place your dog in a kennel for a short period of time, or your dog may encounter visual (never physical!) contact with another dog. If they cannot maintain safe behaviors under these conditions, or you would prefer a private/Kennel free timeslot, please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate you & your dog.
